PwC’s  Training Academy have available In-house transition workshops to assist your company and your colleagues to transition to the 2015 ISO Standards of Quality, Environment, and the recently released OHS standard; ISO 45001 released in March 2018.

The workshops are ideal for those with a working knowledge of the old standards, and require an overview of specifically the changes of the standards.

These courses will introduce you to the High Level Structure (HLS) a framework for which all new management systems standards will align to. The HLS results in commonalities between structure, terms and definitions, allowing for better integration of requirements between each of the standards.

ISO 9001:2015

ISO 9001:2015 has increased the focus on the use of the process approach and risk-based thinking. With the removal of preventive action, the Standard now requires organisations to identify and assess risks that will impact its ability to consistently provide its activities, products and services intended for its customers.

Certification to ISO 9001:2008 will cease from September 2018.

ISO 14001:2015

Key changes to the new Standard, ISO 14001:2015, require an organisation to consider a life-cycle approach when identifying, assessing and controling its environmental aspects and impacts. The Standard also has a much greater focus on leadership, strategic planning and integration into the organisation’s business processes than previously EMS standards.

Certification to ISO 14001:2004 will cease from September 2018.

ISO 45001:2018

The introduction of ISO 45001 replaces the current Health and Safety standards, such as OHSAS 18001:2007 and AS/NZS 2801:2001, with the aim to standardise Health and Safety management systems across the globe. The Standard also aligns with other ISO management systems standards, allowing for easier integration across different disciplines.

“The virtual classroom coupled with an enthusiastic trainer made the course easy to run through and as good as any face to face courses I have ever attended.”

“Overall very valuable course. Balance of theory with practical workshops was excellent. Trainers stuck to the timetable very well.”

“To be honest, I wasn’t really looking forward to the training and wasn’t too sure what to expect. It turned out to be quite enjoyable and a really great experience which I put down to the facilitators, Pat and Tom and the group. Both Pat and Tom shared their breadth of knowledge and experiences and were really engaging.”

“Great presentation of the course, engaging facilitators and good use of group work. I found the course to be a great refresher for an audit course I did 10 years ago and now feel more motivated to go audits in a non-bow tie way!”

“Trainers’ knowledge was excellent, their knowledge made the training and learning easy.”
