This 2-day course is designed to provide a comprehensive and practical understanding of risk management and risk governance provided by ISO 31000:2018. The course breaks down key concepts related to effective risk management, including frameworks, assessment tools, assurance and stakeholder management. We build upon risk management fundamentals that underpin the success of any risk management framework within sustainable organisations. There are no prerequisites for this course.
ISO 31000 provides a framework and roadmap for organisations to manage and integrate multi-disciplinary risks. Alignment of an organisation’s risk management framework to the Standard can provide stakeholders with comfort that the organisation has an appropriate set of policies and processes in place to identify, understand, manage, evaluate and monitor both threats and opportunities.
You will learn the foundations of risk and how risk management practices are applied, aligned to ISO 31000. You will demonstrate your knowledge gained through activities and scenarios, applying your knowledge with continual feedback from risk industry professionals.
