PwC’s Auditor Training & Certification have available In-house transition workshops to assist your company and your colleagues to transition to the 2015 ISO Standards of Quality, Environment, and the soon to be released OHS standard; ISO 45001 due in 2018.

The workshops are ideal for those with a working knowledge of the old standards, and require an overview of specifically the changes of the standards.

These courses will introduce you to the High Level Structure (HLS) a framework for which all new management systems standards will align to. The HLS results in commonalities between structure, terms and definitions, allowing for better integration of requirements between each of the standards.

Quality

ISO 9001:2015

ISO 9001:2015 has increased the focus on the use of the process approach and risk-based thinking. With the removal of preventive action, the Standard now requires organisations to identify and assess risks that will impact its ability to consistently provide its activities, products and services intended for its customers.

Certification to ISO 9001:2008 will cease from September 2018.

Environment

ISO 14001:2015

Key changes to the new Standard, ISO 14001:2015, require an organisation to consider a life-cycle approach when identifying, assessing and controling its environmental aspects and impacts. The Standard also has a much greater focus on leadership, strategic planning and integration into the organisation’s business processes than previously EMS standards.

Certification to ISO 14001:2004 will cease from September 2018.

OHS

ISO 45001 (Coming February 2018)

The introduction of ISO 45001 will replace current Health and Safety standards, such as OHSAS 18001:2007 and AS/NZS 2801:2001, and aim to standardise Health and Safety management systems across the globe. The Standard will also align with other ISO management systems standards, allowing for easier integration across different disciplines.

“Good material explained very well to employees not working in management systems/auditing. The workshop was very beneficial to our business transitioning to the new standard.”

Transition to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015

“Although I find the topic interesting, I think it is generally classed as being quite dry. Pat’s delivery of the program was excellent and engaging, with his experience being profoundly beneficial to my own professional development.”

“Many thanks Tom, I really enjoyed the course and will get a lot of use from it at my workplace.”

“Overall very valuable course. Balance of theory with practical workshops was excellent. Trainers stuck to timetable very well.”

“The course was thorough and many relevant examples provided by both Tom and Jackie to help me apply it to the workplace.”

“Great presentation of the course, engaging facilitators and good use of group work. I found the course to be a great refresher for an audit course I did 10 years ago and now feel more motivated to go audits in a non-bow tie way!”
